Mushrooms with Lemon Juice and Fine Herbs Salad



🛒Ingredients (Grocery List)


  • 1-pound white Mushrooms, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice

  • 4 tbsp Oil

  • 1/2 cup Crème Fraîche or Heavy Cream

  • 2 tbsp of mixed chopped Herbs, such as Parsley, Chives or Chervil for sprinkling

  • Salt and Pepper

🥣Instructions

1. In a Bowl, toss the Mushrooms with the Lemon Juice. Add the Oil, season with Salt and Pepper and toss to coat. Add the Crème Fraîche or Heavy Cream and toss carefully. Just before serving, sprinkle with the herbs.

💡Tips

  • This Mushroom salad is best when prepared at the last minute.

  • The quality of the Mushrooms is especially important in this recipe because they are eaten raw. Select the freshest, smallest, whitest, firmest ones you can find.
