Simple Pan Seared Sea Scallops


🛒Ingredients (Grocery List)

  • 2 tbsp Butter

  • 12 Sea Scallops

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 1 tbsp chopped Parsley leaves

  • 1 Lemon, cut into 4 wedges

🥣Instructions

1. In a large skillet, melt the Butter over medium-high heat. When it foams, add the Scallops and cook, turning once, until nicely browned, 3 or 4 minutes, depending on the size. Season with Salt and Pepper.

2. Transfer the Scallops to a warmed platter, sprinkle with the Parsley, and serve with the Lemon wedges.

💡Tips

  • Serve the Scallops as is, at their unadorned best, or on a mesclun salad, drizzled with extra-virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic or Raspberry Vinegar. Personally, I prefer the Raspberry Vinegar.
