Béchamel Sauce

3 tbsp Butter
3 tbsp all-purpose Flour
2 cup Milk
Salt and Pepper

🥣Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, melt the Butter over medium heat. Whisk in the Flour until it starts foaming. Whisk in the Milk. Season with Salt and Pepper. Bring to a boil, whisking, then reduce the heat to very low and cook for 10 minutes.
💡Tips
A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg adds a delicate flavor to mild Béchamel sauce.
To make a creamy Béchamel sauce, whisk in 2 or 3 tablespoons of Crème Fraîche at the very end and, if you like, a little fresh lemon juice.
Serve Béchamel sauce with poached or hard-boiled eggs, white meats, poached fish, or most boiled vegetables.
It’s much better to mix the sauce with a whisk than a wooden spoon because it’s quicker and helps prevent lumps.
