Fresh Fruit Salad

🛒Ingredients (Grocery List)

  • 1-pound Red Grapes or Green Grapes, about 3 cups

  • 2 cups chopped Fresh Pineapple

  • 1-pound Fresh Strawberries about 2 cups sliced

  • 3 Kiwi peeled and sliced

  • 2 Oranges

  • 2 bananas, thickly sliced

  • Juice of 1 Lemon

  • 2 Apples, peeled, cored, quartered, and thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • Juice of 1 Orange

  • Mint Leaves for decorating

🥣Instructions

1. Wash and dry the fruits well. Peel and chop the Pineapple, slice the Strawberries and peel and chop the Kiwi. Using a sharp knife, peel 1 of the Oranges, removing all the white pith. Scrub the remaining Orange well. Thinly slice both the Oranges crosswise, removing any seeds. Add to a bowl.

2. Add the Bananas, Lemon Juice, Orange Juice, Apples, Sugar and toss to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Add Mint leaves just before serving.

💡Tips

Flavor the Salad with Vanilla Sugar and finely Grated orange Zest.

Adapt the fruits to the season. Oranges and Bananas are available year-round, though, and can serve as the base for other fruits.

If making fruit Salad ahead, it is best to wash, dry and chop it no more than few hours before you plan to serve it.
