🛒Ingredients (Grocery List)

  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour

  • 1 1/2 cups Milk

  • 2 large Eggs, lightly beaten

  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • Sugar for sprinkling

🍴Serves: 4 about 12 Crêpes

⏱️Cook Time: 15 min

🥣Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk the Flour with the Milk, Eggs, 2 tablespoons of the melted Butter, and the Salt. Cover and let stand for at least 1 hour.

2. Lightly brush a 6 or 7-inch skillet with a little of the melted Butter and heat over medium heat. Whisk the batter and add about 2 tablespoons to the skillet, swirling to coat the bottom. Cook until the edge begins to brown, about 30 seconds. Flip using a thin-bladed spatula and cook for 20 seconds. Slide onto a plate and repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the Crêpes as they are cooked and adding more butter to the pan as needed.

3. Sprinkle the Crêpes with sugar and fold into quarters and roll up. Serve right away.

💡Tips

  • If you have any Crêpes left over, use them to make a first course or a dessert another day. Wrapped in foil, they can be refrigerated for 2 or 3 days.

  • If at all possible, let the batter rest for at least an hour before cooking.
