Brittany Raisin Flan

🛒Ingredients (Grocery List)

  • Butter for brushing

  • 1/3 cup Rhum or Water

  • 2/3 cup Raisins

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 3 large Eggs, lightly beaten

  • 2 cups Milk

🥣Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Butter a gratin dish. In a small bowl, soak the Raisins in the Rhum or Water.

2. In a large bowl, whisk the Flour with the Sugar and Eggs. Gradually whisk in the Milk, Raisins, and Rhum.

3. Pour the mixture into the gratin dish. Transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 1 hour. Serve at room temperature in the baking dish.


💡Tips

  • You can replace the Raisins with pitted Prunes, in which case you won’t need to soak in Rhum or Water.

  • If you like, dust the top with Confectioners’ Sugar before serving.
