Pan seared Sea Scallops with Shallot and Garlic

  • 3 tbsp Butter

  • 12 Sea Scallops

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 4 Shallots, finely chopped

  • 2 Garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • Chopped Parsley leaves for sprinkling

🥣Instructions

1. In a large skillet, melt the Butter over high heat. When it foams, add the Scallops, season with Salt and Pepper, and cook, turning once, until nicely browned, about 2 minutes. Add the Shallots and Garlic, reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 2 minutes.

2. Transfer the Scallops with the buttery pan juices to a warmed platter, sprinkle with Parsley, and serve very hot.
